Hydrotherapy is exercise and stimulation in warm water. The buoyancy of the water makes movement easier than on dry land and this can mean that people can often achieve movement in the pool that they are unable to perform on land. Benefits include; pain relief, improved joint range of movement, weak muscles strengthened, improved circulation, improved balance, co-ordination and posture.
