Helen Edwards
Having started out as a physiotherapy assistant on a stroke rehabilitation ward, my passion for neuro-rehab really began to develop. I graduated from Coventry University in 2001 and gained all round experience at Heartlands hospital in Birmingham and went on to specialise in Neurorehabilitation.
I am passionate about providing excellent physiotherapy treatment in the home where it is needed. I love working with clients to help develop and achieve their goals and gain a more confident and positive outlook.
Over the years I have developed a toolbox of skills, including detailed assessment, spasticity management, strength training, developing specific exercise programs, gait re-education, management of long-term conditions and falls prevention.
No two people are the same and I love the challenge of finding what works for the individual and helping along their journey of recovery.
